| The Royal Hotel
at Denman is a superb building... Built in the early 1900's... It has literally survived fire, flood and famine, and goes on standing as a grand old building in the Main Street of Denman. |

The Royal Hotel
is a classic Victorian timber clad Hotel, with wrap
around veranda's, providing many cool quiet places to
sit and relax. Much of Denman was burnt out in the fires of 1928, but The Royal withstood the flames. And again in 1955, with the '55 flood - men stood in the bar up to their thighs in water, and continued to drink. |
